Invest in transformation!

A Master of Arts in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology, Wilderness Therapy Concentration, from Naropa is an investment in yourself and your future as a therapist who can bridge the outdoor and interior landscapes.

Naropa's Financial Aid Office provides personalized support to help make a Naropa University education accessible.

Our best advice to start:

  1. Apply. Even if you don't think you qualify, apply anyway. It's the only way you'll know for sure whether or not you're eligible for financial aid.
  2. Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon after Jan. 1 as possible. (Naropa's FAFSA code is 014652.) Financial aid is typically awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
  3. Research scholarships. Naropa has 25 scholarship programs. You are automatically considered for many of our scholarships when you submit a Naropa application and Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Some of our scholarships require a separate application.

Most scholarship awards for graduate students range from $500 to $4,500 a year; some are as high as $15,000.

Explore loan forgiveness.

The Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program rewards people for pursuing careers in public service by forgiving a portion of their federal student loans after ten years service.

Should you use your Naropa education in a nonprofit, government agency or organization such as the Peace Corps or AmeriCorps, you could qualify to have a chunk of your student debt forgiven.
